A 43-year-old woman who was threatening to harm herself with a knife has been taken to hospital after Saskatoon police used a Taser on her.
It happened just before 4 p.m. on Thursday after police got a report at a home in Greystone Heights, which is north of 8th Street and east of Preston Avenue South.
Officers arrived to the home to find a distraught woman holding a knife and threatening to harm herself.
Police used a Taser and the woman was taken into custody. She was not hurt.
The incident will be reviewed according to policy.
