The University of Saskatchewan Huskies football team is back to .500 on the year after a 45-29 win over the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds Friday.
Quarterback Drew Burko, went 16-for-21 for 324 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Jarvis James picked up 159 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. Mitch Hillis caught five balls for 110 yards and Juan Lynch was able to haul in four catches for 88 yards and a touchdown.
The Huskies move to 2-2 on the season while the Thunderbirds drop to 2-2.
There’s a four way tie for second place in the Canada West standings with Manitoba and Alberta also at 2-2.
