Yorkton RCMP and Prince Albert RCMP are looking for the same man: William Charles Crawford, 28.
Crawford is known to frequent the Prince Albert and Yorkton areas.
According to police, he faces several charges. Crawford is wanted by the Prince Albert detachment for offences including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and failing to comply with an undertaking. He is also charged with trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property and weapons in Yorkton.
Police were close to capturing him in August. He was spotted in Yorkton but was able to flee from police in a vehicle. Police say that day he was in a red Chevrolet Equinox with Saskatchewan licence plate 561 JVZ. Mounties followed Crawford outside of Yorkton’s city limits, traveling northwest, before calling off the chase.
RCMP said at that time the the public should not approach Crawford as he might have weapons with him.
He’s described as 5’11”, weighing about 170 lbs, with a tattoo of a cross on his left forearm.
