A McDonald’s run turned into a trip to the hospital for one teenager early Sunday afternoon.
According to the Regina Police Service, a 16-year-old girl was crossing Wascana Parkway at Kramer Boulevard, coming back from the fast food restaurant around 1:18 p.m. She was hit by a vehicle turning left out of the University of Regina.
She was taken to the Regina General Hospital, but her injuries were considered minor, so she’ll be alright.
The 26-year-old man driving the car was given a ticket for failing to yield the right of way.
