Saskatoon police walked away with a small amount of ammunition after a noon-hour standoff on Avenue I South Friday.
Over the lunch-hour police surrounded a home in the 200 block of Avenue I South near the railway tracks. A group of youth were escorted out of a home by police, but later released after questioning.
Several officers entered the home and came out shortly after with a clear plastic bag of ammunition.
Police made no arrests and it’s not clear if any charges will be laid following the incident.
