The campus of Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo has lifted its lockdown after a threat was made to the school.
The threat was received by the university’s special constable service. It is now being investigated by Waterloo Regional Police General Detectives and Wilfrid Laurier University Police along with the RCMP and FBI.
All buildings are closed and all classes and meetings have been cancelled. The lockdown started at 6 a.m. Ontario time.
The school has said staff and students aren’t required to return until Monday.
