Four men face a slew of drug and weapons charges after Saskatoon police raided two homes Friday night.
Around 11:50 p.m., the Saskatoon Integrated Organized Crime Unit North, Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team, Gangs and Guns Unit and the Tactical Support Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Dickey Crescent, in the Pacific Heights neighbourhood. They seized guns, ammunition, cash and drugs, including what are thought to be Fentanyl pills.
Then police searched a home in the 10 block of Bow Court in River Heights where they found more pills they believe are Fentanyl and cash.
The men, who range in ages from 18 to 36, face 48 charges including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and careless storage of a firearm.
The four men will appear in front of a Justice of the Peace Saturday evening.
Police are still investigating. Saskatoon Integrated Organized Crime Unit North and Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team are joint units made up of Saskatoon Police officers and the RCMP.
