A highway construction worker operating a compactor died near Fort Qu’Appelle when his equipment left the road being paved.
The 49-year-old man was working on Highway 56 west of the town on Wednesday evening when he was gravely injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP and Occupational Health and Safety as well as the Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety are investigating. An autopsy has ordered.
