Saskatchewan driver’s licences are getting an upgrade.
On Thursday, SGI announced that Veridos Canada Inc. had been awarded a contract to produce the province’s licences and ID cards. The cards will now provide facial recognition and photo capture enhancement.

Veridos Canada Inc. will begin producing the cards in April 2016.
