Two men were able to get away with cash and other items after a home invasion and robbery in Chaplin — 86 kilometres west of Moose Jaw on Highway 1.
Morse RCMP were called to the home just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday. RCMP say two men wearing bandanas entered the home and demanded money from the residents. One of the men was carrying a rifle. The suspects left in a vehicle.
None of the residents were injured.
Morse RCMP were able to track down the vehicle and one of the suspects in the Parkbeg area. The rifle believed to be used in the robbery was also located, however, the second suspect is still at large.
He is described as aboriginal, approximately 6’0″, medium build, and wearing a hooded sweater.
