A vehicle crossing a highway has ended in another death in Saskatchewan, this time on Highway 1 at Indian Head.
The RCMP said it happened at about 5:30 Monday evening when a vehicle tried to drive across the eastbound lanes of Highway 1 from Highway 56. The vehicle was hit by an eastbound vehicle and the 44-year-old woman inside, from Indian Head, was killed.
Three people from the eastbound vehicle were sent to hospital. There was no word on the extent of their injuries.
A portion of Highway 1 was slowed down for several hours as police investigated.
