A pair of armed robbery suspects got away from Saskatoon police on Tuesday and they left an alleged accomplice to take the wrap.
Police reported that the 7-11 at 3303 33rd Street West got robbed shortly after midnight Tuesday. Two men wearing masks and carrying shotguns allegedly stole cigarettes before taking off in a grey minivan.
Officers spotted the van and tried unsuccessfully to pull it over.
A short chase ended when the van hit a fence on Cartier Crescent.
At that point, police said two men ran off on foot. A 20-year-old woman was found in the van and arrested.
Police are still looking for the two men. One is described as five feet, five inches tall and was allegedly wearing a grey Adidas hoodie, black hat, blue latex gloves, blue jeans, and grey or brown shoes at the time of the robbery, along with a mask.
The second suspect is described as five feet, three inches tall, with a slim build, wearing a grey hoodie with blue diamond pattern on the front and hood, a black balaclava, black pants with red stripes and dark shoes.
