An inmate has escaped from the minimum security unit at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary.
On Nov. 1, staff members noticed that Jesse Grant McMullen was not accounted for during the 9:30 p.m. count.
McMullen is serving a three-year sentence for robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, disguise with intent and failure to stop at the scene of an accident.
McMullen, 20, is described as five feet and nine inches tall in height and weighing approximately 157 pounds. He has a fair complexion with blue eyes and blonde hair.
Correctional Services Canada have contacted the Prince Albert Police Service and Prince Albert RCMP and a warrant for McMullen’s arrest has been issued.
Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Jesse Grant McMullen is asked to contact Prince Albert Police or Prince Albert RCMP.
