Five years after a woman was found dead in a burned-out shed east of Redvers, RCMP are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the blaze.
The shed fire happened on an acreage on July 28, 2010. Redvers Fire Department responded to the fire and were able to extinguish the flames. When they entered the shed, they found the woman’s body.
RCMP aren’t releasing the woman’s name or saying exactly how she died, but they’re still asking the public for information on the case. Mounties do say the body was of a 40-year-old woman from the RM of Antler. They are now calling her death was suspicious.
Mounties are looking to speak to anyone who may have traveled on Highway 13 between 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. that day. Investigators are also interested in seeing any photos or videos taken during that time.
Anyone who can help in the investigation is asked to contact Carlyle RCMP at 306-453-6707 or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
