U of S researchers work to develop portable concussion test

New research at the University of Saskatchewan may one day lead to early detection of concussions as scientists work to develop a portable test for diagnosing the brain injury.
 
The test could be used by paramedics at an accident scene or by a team doctor on a sports field.
 
A team of researchers are looking into a link between concussions and elevated protein levels in the blood stream.
 
Saskatchewan sees about 6,000 concussion each year.
