Two Saskatoon men in the 20s face charges of possession and trafficking fentanyl.
On Nov. 5 members of the Saskatoon police drug enforcement team executed a search warrant at a home in the 2500 block of Melrose Avenue. Inside, police found a single fentanyl pill, about $2,000 cash, cellphones, a pill grinder and bear spray.
Police arrested a 20-year-old inside the home charging him with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession of the proceeds of crime and breach of conditions.
Police also found a 23-year-old man outside the home and found him with two fentanyl pills, he faces charges of possession of a controlled substance.
