Saskatoon has now seen its 6th armed robbery in as many days.
The latest came just after 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon at NorDon Drugs & Medical Ltd on Isabella St. E.
Police said the two suspects were armed with a gun and a knife. They demanded cash and merchandise from the staff before fleeing the scene on foot.
The police dog unit could not track down the men.
Witnesses reported seeing a dark blue SUV driving erratically in the area at around the same time, but it’s not clear if the vehicle is linked to the robbery.
There have been roughly a dozen armed robberies in Saskatoon since the beginning of October. In most cases, robbers targeted convenience stores and drug stores.
