A road closure disrupted some morning commutes in Saskatoon on Thursday after a front-end snow loader snagged some overhead wires.
At around 1 a.m, Saskatoon police say a City of Saskatoon snow-removal truck struck a cable and telephone wire on 33rd Street East and Edward Avenue. Luckily no one was injured but police had to close the 33rd Street between Seventh Avenue and Spadina Crescent for repairs.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area until the scene is clear.
