Regina police have arrested four people in connection with the use of counterfeit American money.
A number of businesses and banks in Regina complained about this to police between Nov. 16 and Thursday. The reports suggest American counterfeit bills were being used to purchase items throughout the city.
Police executed search warrants at two homes Thursday and found over $4,800 in counterfeit US bills, equipment used to make it, and drugs.
Gregory Troy Hamilton, 45, Julie Michelle Langley, 38, Richard Austin Nelson, 39, and Trevor Thomas Trueit, 48, all from Regina, are facing a number of charges including possession of American counterfeit money.
They will make their first court appearance Monday.
