Sears Warehouse in Regina not being torn down after all

It appears the owner of the Sears Warehouse in Regina is having a change of heart.

City administration has received a request to withdraw the demolition permit application. Administration received the application on Oct. 21, 2015 for the property at 1050 Broad St.

It is the administration’s understanding that the owner is considering other options for the building that does not include demolition.

The property is listed on the Heritage Holding Bylaw.
