The SWAT team was involved as the Regina Police Service executed two “high-risk” search warrants Thursday afternoon.
The police service says warrants were served at two homes on Rae Street, one on the 800 block, one on the 900 block. Police seized drugs, a long-barrelled firearm and ammunition from both homes.
Police say “a number of people” were taken into custody and charges are expected to be laid.
