Fire crews in Regina headed out into the crisp night air at Osler Street early Sunday morning when a blaze started in a house.
It was just before 1 a.m. when Regina Fire and Protective Services was called out to the 1800 block of Osler Street between 11th and 12th Avenues. The fire was under control quickly, but took several hours to put out.
Regina fire said the building was fully involved by the time they got there. It tried to spread to the building on the south side, but only scorched it a bit. The fire did catch on the upper floor of the building on the north side, but crews put it out quickly.
No one was hurt in the blaze.
As of Sunday afternoon, investigators were looking into the cause of the fire, so they couldn’t say yet whether this blaze was connected to a string of fires in recent weeks.
