Freezing rain followed by snow Tuesday evening and overnight could mean a slow, sloppy Wednesday-morning commute in Saskatoon.
Environment Canada forecasts a low pressure system moving into the Saskatchewan from Alberta later today, bringing freezing rain and snow to central parts of the province including North Battleford, Saskatoon, Warman and Martensville.
Areas north of the freezing rain will see snow while rain will fall to the south. As the low moves through the province, the freezing rain is expected to change to snow. While the exact path of this developing system and amounts of freezing rain are still unclear.
