The City of Regina is letting people know about some sewage that leaked into Wascana Lake.
A broken sewer line allowed sewage to make its way into the storm sewer. The storm sewer drains into Wascana Lake.
City crews found the broken sewer line late Wednesday and it has since been fixed.
The city confirmed Friday it does not know how much leaked and it might never know.
The province was notified and the city will be working with regulatory agencies to meet all environmental requirements.
So far, no additional treatment to the lake is required.
