A man and a teen face charges after a stabbing in Regina early Friday morning that left a young man with serious injuries, and the victim is also facing charges.
Police were called to the Regina General Hospital at 12:55 a.m. where an 18-year-old man had gone after being stabbed several times.
On Monday morning, police confirmed that charges have been laid against a 38-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy in the stabbing.
The teen can’t be named due to his age. He’s charged with attempted murder and failing to comply.
The man, 38-year-old Dale Lawrence Henderson, is charged with accessory after the fact to commit indictable offence and possession of marijuana.
The victim of the stabbing is also facing two charges of common assault against a 15-year-old and 13-year-old. Regina police say he will not be named due to the practice of not naming victims.
NOTE: A previous version of this story said the victim was 20 years old based on information provided by Regina police. The police announced charges against him on Monday afternoon.
