An early morning attempted break and enter in Regina has landed three people in custody.
Regina police said it happened in the 5300 block of 2nd Avenue North just after midnight Friday morning. Officers were called to an area around King Street and McKinley Avenue.
Police eventually tracked down the suspect vehicle and performed a high-risk traffic stop. Three people were arrested at the scene but one was able to get away. That person still has not been found.
Officers also found a fake gun while searching the vehicle.
Karlie Nicole Elaine Lucas, 18, Christopher Joseph Larwood, 26, and a 16-year-old girl were arrested and charged. They are facing, among other things, attempted break and enter.
All three made their first court appearances Friday afternoon.
