Saskatoon police are searching for two suspects after a man was carjacked at gun point Tuesday night.
A 19-year-old man told police he was parked in the 200 block of Avenue K South around 9:30 p.m. when two men came up to him, pointed what looked like a sawed-off shotgun at him and ordered him out of the car.
The two men then took off in the vehicle.
The victim wasn’t hurt and police found his car abandoned a short time later in the 100 block of Avenue O South, just a couple blocks away.
The suspects are described as First Nations, 25 to 30 years old and around five feet 11 inches tall. They were both wearing black winter coats with black hoodies underneath.
This is the second carjacking in the Saskatoon area this week. Two women were pulled from their vehicle and beaten along Highway 11 after they stopped to help people who rolled their stolen SUV in a separate incident.
