A 15-year-old boy was shot in the face Tuesday afternoon.
Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) are investigating the incident, which occurred in the 1700 block of 14th St. W.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested just after 6 p.m. in connection with the shooting. At the time of his arrest he was carrying a firearm. Charges are pending.
The 17-year-old will make his first court appearance 9:30 a.m. Thursday, in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
Any connection or relationship between the two is unclear, according to PAPS.
The boy’s injuries are not considered life threatening. He remains in a Saskatoon hospital in stable condition.
