Ensuring everyone makes it home safely the City of Saskatoon is covering bus fares on New Year’s Eve.
Starting Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. and through to 2:45 a.m. Jan. 1, Saskatoon Transit will provide free transit so you don’t have to worry about driving.
Worried about making it to the bus stop on time? The City says customers may flag down a bus at any point along the route, not just at specified stops, if they are in need.
When flagging a bus please use caution: stand on the curb at a safe place for the bus to stop and raise your hand to get the operators attention.
For residents attending the New Year’s festivities at Prairieland Park, Saskatoon Transit will provide direct shuttle service from the Downtown Bus Terminal.
Departure times for the Prairieland Direct Shuttle will be every 30 minutes starting at 8:00 p.m. from the bus stop in front of the south entrance of 2nd Avenue Lofts on 23rd Street.
Alternately, starting at 6:30 p.m. service to Prairieland Park will also be provided by Route 1 Exhibition at 30 minutes past the hour.
Please Note: Route 14 will not be running to the North Industrial area after 7:00 p.m.
