Employees and former staff at SaskPower have been warned about a possible leak of their personal information.
A current employee is being blamed for the breach, reported to employees in a letter on Dec. 22.
A SaskPower spokesperson said information like names, addresses and social insurance numbers may have been released.
Police are now looking into the incident.
No customer data was compromised.
