New Year's baby arrives in Regina

Regina is welcoming its first baby of 2016.

At 12:15 a.m. a little girl was born at the Regina General Hospital to Catherine and Elvin Cudia from Melville. The New Year’s baby has not been given a name yet. She was born a few weeks ahead of schedule weighing in at 4.4 pounds.

Both mom and baby are said to be doing well. Baby Cudia is spending time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for observation.
