North Battleford RCMP told Saskatoon police that a Ford F150 with a gun and ammunition inside had been stolen in their city and could be in Saskatoon.
On Friday, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit spotted the truck at a home in the 200 block of Avenue F North. The man was arrested when he came out of the house and approached the car.
He had the truck keys and a magazine clip with ammunition for a .22 rifle in his pockets. The stolen rifle was found in the house’s backyard.
The man is charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000, possession of stolen property over $5,000, breach of probation and a number of firearm offences.
