An Ontario man living in Saskatoon faces charges following the death of another man two years ago.
RCMP Major Crime Unit (North) charged John Glen MacAulay, 46, of North Bay, Ont. with second-degree murder in relation to the death of Norman Playter in May 2014.
Playter was reported missing to the Calgary Police Service but an RCMP investigation showed he had been visiting the Saskatoon area in the days leading up to his death.
MacAulay was living in Saskatoon at the time of Playter’s death and both knew each another.
MacAulay was arrested and is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Monday at 9:30 a.m.
