'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
A 27-year-old man is in hospital after a group of people allegedly broke into his apartment and stabbed him early Saturday morning.
The man told police four men broke into his apartment in the 2600 block of Broadway Avenue just before 5:45 a.m., and demanded money and drugs. He said they assaulted and stabbed him before they searched the home and fled in what is believed to be a silver or grey Dodge minivan.
The man was taken to hospital with minor stab wounds. The suspects are described as First Nations in their late teens or early 20s.
