The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added a little more competition to the offensive side of the ball.
The team signed American quarterback BJ Coleman and American offensive lineman Quinterrius Eatmon. Terms of the deals were not released.
Coleman spent last season with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League. Coleman finished the season with Rattlers Coleman completed 61 of his 119 passes for 629 yards, 17 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Prior to joining the AFL, Coleman spent two seasons with the Green Bay Packers of the NFL after being picked in the seventh round of the 2012 Draft. The Tennessee native spent the 2012 season on the team’s practice squad and played in three pre-season games in 2013.
Eatmon played in two pre-season games last season with the Oakland Raiders. The Alabama native signed with the team as an undrafted free-agent in May of 2015. Eatmon played four seasons at South Florida playing in 47 career games.
