Another northern Saskatchewan community staged a special candlight vigil honouring the victims of the shootings in La Loche.
On Monday night, people in Stanley Mission gathered in the snow. Glowing in the night’s sky, hundreds of candles lit up to spell out “La Loche”.
Linking arms, the community formed a giant heart around the vigil in a touching gesture that has now been shared online.
Four people were killed Friday. Seven others were injured in the shootings at a home and the La Loche high school.
