The small community of Imperial in southern Saskatchewan was the scene of an armed bank robbery Thursday.
RCMP said it happened around 11:20 a.m. in the 300 block of Royal Street in Imperial. The community is located south of Watrous on Highway 2.
According to RCMP, two men entered the bank and demanded money. They got away in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one inside the building was hurt during the robbery.
One suspect is described as 6’0″ with a slim build. The other is 5’6″ with a stalky build. Both were wearing camouflage-patterned face masks. One suspect was wearing a red and black checkered coat/ sweater. The other had a camouflage hooded jacket.
Road blocks were set up around Imperial but have since been removed.
