The Auto Clearing Motor Speedway is getting a name change.
One of North America’s best oval race tracks will now operate as the Wyant Group Raceway.
The Wyant Group’s core business is a chain of car dealerships in Saskatchewan and British Columbia. The race track is still member-owned and operated by the Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association.
In 2011 the speedway became the first oval race track to host an Air Show. While there won’t be an Air Show in 2016, the Wyant Group Raceway said the group is looking to other events to enhance the community’s tourism market.
