Regina police have made another arrest in a series of crimes including a murder in October 2015.
Robert Brian Oochoo, 23, is facing nine charges including second-degree murder, careless use of a firearm, and arson.
Oochoo is believed to be connected with a murder, a couple of shootings, and an arson in the early morning hours of Oct. 22, 2015.
Police were called to the 1500 block of Robinson Street just after 3:35 a.m. for reports of an injured person. Officers found Matthew John Wells, 48, dead in a house.
Moments later, police were dispatched to an apartment building in the 2200 block of Robinson Street for reports of gun shots fired. Police said balcony doors were shattered by bullets but there were no injuries.
Later that morning, police attended to an arson and theft from a vehicle and another shooting, this time in the 3200 block of Dewdney Avenue. There were no injuries reported there.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested in December and Jason Dustin Hotomanie, 25, was taken into custody in January. Both are facing charges connected with these incidents.
Oochoo made his first court appearance on Feb. 5, 2016.
