Several RCMP detachments worked together to arrest a suspect in a string of small-town bank robberies.
Throughout November, banks were robbed in Grenfell, Vibank, Sedley and Lang. In each robbery, a man wearing a disguise approached an employee and demanded cash. The suspect ran away on foot after getting the cash.
No one was hurt in any of the robberies.
At the end of November, Mounties confirmed that it was believed the four robberies were related.
On Thursday, a 20-year-old Regina man was arrested in connection to the robberies. Timothy Holowachuk faces four counts of robbery and four counts of wearing a disguise with the intent to commit an offence.
Holowachuk makes his first court appearance Friday morning.
