If you’re not in the mood for love this Sunday, pull up a chair at Winston’s Pub.
The Saskatoon bar is offering a place to avoid romance throughout the weekend and especially on Feb. 14.
“The ‘Anti-Valentine’s’ Day was born out of a few of the single guys here at the pub that were always wondering why people celebrate being in love, what about them, type of thing,” Chris Beavis, general manager and part owner said.
The concept has been well received over the years and Beavis said it’s become a popular alternative for both men and women.
“People have obviously been spurned or broken hearted throughout the years, you know, so it’s to help make everybody feel a bit better and have some fun with it.”
There will be prizes for singles and ‘Heartbreak’ shooters on special.
The pub has been Anti-Valentine for more than a decade.
