Many city of Saskatoon services and facilities are adjusting their hours for the Family Day holiday.
City Hall and all Saskatoon Public Libraries will be closed.
Regular buses and Access Transit will run on a Sunday schedule. However, the transit customer service centre will be closed. Customer’s can still access the transit customer service phone line from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The landfill will operate on normal winter hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Garbage collection will run on its regular schedule.
The city’s impound lot won’t be releasing vehicles for the day.
The Cosmo Civic Centre will be closed, but the gym and the rink will open from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The city’s indoor arenas will operate on regular hours. The Clarence Downy Speed Skating Oval will host a Family Day skate from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The fitness circuit and the Terry Fox Track at the SaskTel Sports Centre will be closed.
Fitness classes and child minding at Saskatoon’s other civic centres will be canceled, but the facilities themselves will be open.
