Southern Saskatchewan may see freezing rain over the next few days as a wave of Pacific air pushes in from the mountains.
“(Thursday) looks wet – at least with showers in it – and it’s above freezing each day,” explained CJME weather specialist John Wilson. However, temperatures are expected to dip below 0 C at night, which will bring a risk of freezing rain.
The forecast doesn’t show much else for precipitation for the rest of February, although Wilson says it looks like another push of cold air will arrive at the end of the month.
But before that, some temperature records may be set. The forecast shows Regina reaching 6 C on Thursday.
