Riders add 2 offensive linemen, a receiver and a running back

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added four international players on offence – two offensive linemen, one running back and one receiver.

Terrance Cobb, 25, is a running back who returns to the Riders after attending training camp with the team in 2015. The 5’11”, 220 lbs Tennessee native played at Cumberland College for four seasons recording 4,414 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns – both of which are school records.

Cobb has also spent time with the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Offensive lineman Darryl Johnson joins the Riders after spending four seasons at the University of Mexico. The 6’4″, 295 lbs Louisiana product previously spent time with the San Diego Chargers and Buffalo Bills.

Etauj Allen, 25, joins the Riders as a receiver after attending training camp with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2015. Allen spent three seasons at the Ouachita Baptist University as a defensive back, collecting 84 defensive tackles and three interceptions.

Allen was named First Team All-Conference in 2013 and Second Team All-Conference in 2012. He is 5’9″ and 185 lbs.

Kamalie Matthews, 23, attended training camp with the Seattle Seahawks last season. The Georgia native spent three seasons at Murray State as an offensive lineman. He is 6’2″ and 310 lbs.

The terms of all four contracts are not being released.
