Council retroactively slashed $1.33 million in rent owed by the Roughriders.
Three people, including two young boys, are dead following a crash on Highway 16, about six kilometres west of Langham Monday.
Around 6:55 a.m, a semi trailer transporting vehicles was headed westbound on Highway 16 when it collided with a truck crossing from rural route 3083 onto the highway.
Of the seven people in the truck, a 26-year-old Corman Park woman and two boys aged four and nine from Langham were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 32-year-old man from Regina who was driving the truck and two boys aged 11 and five from Moose Jaw and Langham respectively were taken to Royal University Hospital (RUH) in Saskatoon. M.D. ambulance reported they were in serious condition.
Another 46-year-old man was also taken to RUH in critical condition while the 53-year-old semi driver was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
No charges have been laid, but Warman RCMP and an RCMP collision reconstructionist continue to investigate.
The highway has reopened to traffic after it was temporarily closed.
