Police have arrested three people after a Sutherland Mac’s Convenience store was robbed Tuesday morning.
Just after 6 a.m, a store employee reported two men wearing masks came into the store and threatened him with the knife and club, damaged items in the store and fled with cash and cigarettes. The employee wasn’t hurt.
Later, police arrested three people at a traffic stop at McKercher Drive and Taylor Street.
Two 17-year-old boys from Borden and Prince Albert along with a 19-year-old woman from Saskatoon were arrested. The group face charges including robbery with violence, wearing a disguise, mischief under $5,000, possession of a weapon, uttering threats, being party to the offence of robbery and outstanding warrants.
Police continue to investigate.
