A public art display that’s been a fixture in downtown Saskatoon for over 20 years lies in ruins Tuesday.
The three-piece Tyndall stone sculpture, named Visionaries, was toppled overnight sometime leaving only one of its pillars still standing.
The sculpture by local artist Leslie Potter has stood at the corner of Second Avenue and 21st Street since it was installed in 1994.
A spokesperson from the city said they are looking into what happened, and are planning to file a police report.
