Drivers will be facing a few traffic restrictions at White City beginning next week as construction continues on the Regina Bypass.
The restrictions are expected to begin Monday, and will affect people at the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 48. Vehicles won’t be able to turn left from the North Service Road to head east on Highway 1. Drivers were also not be able to go from the North Service Road to Highway 48.
Construction will begin in the median, and will affect drivers’ sight lines.
A release from the government says construction is continuing 24 hours a day east of Regina. Work is being done as part of the construction of an overpass which will be built at Tower Road. Work is also beginning on the south portion of the project.
The project has also launched a 24-hour phone number that can be used for emergencies, questions, or employment inquiries (1-844-679-4828).
