The Regina Farmers’ Market is back for another year.
The first indoor market of 2016 kicks off Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2065 Hamilton St. at the Shrine Centre. Indoor markets occur weekly, every Saturday, until April 30.
A number of products will be available Saturday including eggs, meat products, honey, and greens.
Free parking is available in the SaskPower parking lot across the street.
In a news release, the RFM says interest in potential new vendors has increased compared with this time last year, meaning the RFM will be offering new products this weekend (like 100 per cent Saskatchewan whole wheat flour).
Higher attendance is expected with local food prices predicted to be the same or lower than grocery store prices as a result of Saskatchewan’s current economical status.
