Saturday is set to feel like another spring day, but it’s just the beginning.
The forecast is for a high of 14 C on Saturday and Sunday, but for the rest of the week Regina is expecting highs above zero, with the lowest being five on Monday and Tuesday.
CJME’s weather specialist John Wilson said it’s all thanks to a big push of air from the Pacific.
The temperatures on Saturday and Sunday likely won’t hit a record though. The record for Saturday is 16 C while the record for Sunday is 16.8 C. Wilson said both records were set in 1987.
“That as well was an El NiƱo year and we got some big pushes of pacific air across the mountains all winter long.”
